Erik grew up in Minnetrista Minnesota, was homeschooled and completed 2 years of PSEO through University of Northwestern St. Paul. In August 2022 He married his high school sweetheart and best friend Madison.

Erik is a passionate helper and is always working on a wide variety of projects both in and outside the realm of tech and video. Whether behind a camera, or a MacBook he is using his talents to serve others and support our ministry leaders in furthering the gospel with the tools of media and technology.

Outside of Heartland you may find Erik working on freelance video projects, walking, biking, photographing nature, dabbling with musical instruments, having passionate conversations about Apple devices, or just waiting in the Chick-Fil-A drive through for a Spicy Deluxe with Waffle Fries.
